About Profound Services

Set up in 2006 by managing director Steven Ward and based in County Durham, England, Profound Services is a dynamic, rapidly expanding business.

Our professional expertise and in-depth knowledge means we are able to meet customer’s needs in TODAY’S market place.  We combine that with our flair and vision in being able to focus on their FUTURE requirements so that we can build and sustain long term relationships with our clients.

Our efficient, effective and easy to manage training and recruitment solutions are unique to every client.  We don’t believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach which is why we work closely with our clients to develop bespoke solutions run on a ‘project by project’ basis.

At Profound we work closely with a number of government bodies and the work we do is in direct response to a key component in the Skills Funding Agency’s agenda.  As such we are aware of new legislation, work schemes and funding packages.

We are proud of what we have achieved in a relatively short space of time and are now looking to expand nationally with plans already in place for Leeds, Bradford, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Leicester, in addition to our main North East headquarters.

However, we are passionate about the North East and proud of our Northern roots and as such our head office will always remain here – and because we are a family run business we will never lose the personal service we offer to our clients.
