At Profound we work closely with a number of government bodies and the work we do is in direct response to a key component in the Skills Funding Agency’s agenda. As such we are aware of new legislation, work schemes and funding packages.
We will ensure that all staff, associates and learners are aware of and promote the implementation of current legislation, statutory codes and recommended guidelines relating to Equality & Diversity.
Course documentation and publicity materials promote fair and equal access to training and assessment in a non-discriminatory fashion. Particular care is taken to avoid the use of statements and stereotypes that might reasonably be expected to give offence on the grounds of Age, Gender, Sexual Orientation, Disability, Race, Religion & Belief.
Staff members, associates and all learners who believe themselves to have been unfairly treated in relation to any of the areas identified in this policy, are encouraged to discuss their concerns, in the first instance, with their trainer or assessor or line manager or directly with the Company’s Equality & Diversity Champion. Formal complaints should be made in writing and addressed to the Company’s Head Office.
