A Profound Moment: Durham Cathedral 22^nd December 2009

The celebration of Nine Lessons and Carols in Durham Cathedral each Christmas is always a great occasion, but this year it was of special interest for Profound Services, because our Corporate Services Manager, Peter Barrigan, had been invited to read one of the nine lessons.

Profound Services is a corporate partner of Durham Cathedral and Peter read his lesson on behalf of Profound as the representative of ‘local commerce’. The Company was well represented by staff members and their families.

As usual, it was a wonderful service and the perfect beginning to our Christmas celebrations. This year was marked by the presence of the newly formed girl choristers who sang for the first time at this service alongside the boy choristers. Thanks to the Dean, Michael Sadgrove, for his kind invitation. Well done to Peter for making this a ‘Profound moment’ for us all.
