As an Apprentice Social Media & Digital Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the success of the companies and their growth.

Duties will include:

Developing the companies’ presence across social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Houzz and Pinterest

Updating social media profiles and other online portals; Maintaining the companies’ editorial calendars and scheduling social media posts accordingly

Maintaining and updating the companies’ websites with relevant listings

Using Adobe Photoshop and other relevant software to manipulate images for use on digital platforms

Assisting in the creation and issuing of digital marketing newsletters via e-mail marketing platforms such as Mailchimp

Implementing SEO strategies to increase website traffic and build the companies’ online awareness

Undertaking market research and reporting on findings 

Monitoring the success of marketing campaigns and analysing web traffic

Dealing with phone, web, email and social media enquiries received from customers/clients, and potential customers/clients

Any other associated office and administrative tasks as required

Employer Vacancy Map Level 3 Apprenticeship in Social Media for Business

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
