The Warehouse and Storage Apprentices Operatives will complete a 12 month level 2 Apprenticeship. Previous experience is not required as training will be given on the job. This could lead to a full time position with our growing company based in the North East The successful applicant’s will be required to work in the warehouse in a team, health and safety training will be given .Housekeeping duties will be necessary to keep the work place clean and tidy. They will be dealing with on line orders from our customers, They will then pack the goods and label to dispatch out to customers. The job will require some lifting, using manual handling skills. Stock taking will be part of the job, again training will be given. Good transport links from both bus and rail stations across the City. They will start on a basic wage with the potential to earn more, with the possibility of leading to a full time position with the company.
• Taking delivery of goods and supplies
• Picking up and packing orders delivering and assembly of orders at customer premises.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
