What Will You Learn
This intermediate qualification will develop and demonstrate technical and wider sector-related knowledge to underpin competence within a Business Administration role. This includes the principles and practices underpinning the core tasks and responsibilities related to the job role, as well as wider work-related knowledge such as organisational structure and environment, the use of research in business, equality and diversity and the legal context of business. There are optional units available to tailor your course around specific areas of your job role such as: information systems, organising and supporting meetings and events, developing presentations, reception services, producing business documents, collating and reporting data, amongst many more.
You will be assigned a qualified training advisor, where learning will be undertaken by mixture of 1 to 1 sessions, on/off the job learning and mentor support
The course will be assessed via a range of methods which could include direct observations in the workplace, electronic portfolios, guided discussions, screen testing and exams
There would be opportunities to progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration, Customer Service, Team Leading or Management
Job roles could include Administrator, Office Junior, Receptionist, Secretary, Assistant, Business Support or other related roles
