Who The Apprenticeship Is For
This qualification is aimed at staff working in a support role in a residential sales environment. Its also ideal for those who have little or no work experience but wish to work in the Property sector in a sales based role.
What Will You Learn
Duties will include the following: providing initial advice to customers and obtaining information on requirements and circumstances; preparing and distributing property information; managing office diaries and the safe keeping of keys; liaising with advertising agencies and organising viewings.
Mandatory units include:
- Reduce risks to health and safety in the workplace
- Maintain the security of individuals and property
- Understanding professional conduct
- Progress customer enquiries associated with property
- Know the legislation, guidelines, codes of practice and statutory information in residential sales
- Maintain displays of marketing materials for properties
- Organise and progress viewings of properties
- Conduct viewings of properties
Employee right and responsibilities (ERR) will be delivered through an ERR unit which will ensure that the Apprentice knows and understands each of the nine national outcomes for ERR.
You will be assigned a qualified Training Advisor, where learning will be undertaken by a mixture of 1 to 1 sessions, on/off the job learning, and mentor support.
The course will be assessed via a range of methods which could include direct observations in the workplace, electronic portfolios, guided discussions and on-screen testing.
Those who successfully complete Level 2 can progress to a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Property Services (Sale of Residential Property). The Advanced Apprenticeship includes the opportunity to work towards the Propertymark Qualifications Level 3 Award in the Sale of Residential Property and gain NAEA membership.
Job roles could include Sales Negotiator, Sales Administration and other sales related roles within the Property Sector.
Apprentices must complete or have completed Level 1 Functional Skills qualifications in English, Mathematics and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in order to successfully complete their Apprenticeship. Functional skills tuition is also delivered through Profound Services.
