What Will You Learn

Apprenticeship Content

This intermediate qualification will develop and demonstrate technical and wider sector-related knowledge to underpin competence within a Team Leading role. This includes the leading and managing a team, understanding business, principles of team leading, managing personal performance and development, communicating work-related information. There are optional units available to tailor your course around specific areas of your job role such as: developing working relationships with colleagues, managing team performance, encouraging innovation, managing conflict, collaborating with other departments, delivering customer service, developing presentations, health and safety procedures, storing and retrieving information, employee rights and responsibilities, amongst many more.

Learning Methods

You will be assigned a qualified training advisor, where learning will be undertaken by mixture of 1 to 1 sessions, on/off the job learning and mentor support

Assessment Methods

The course will be assessed via a range of methods which could include direct observations in the workplace, electronic portfolios, guided discussions, screen testing and exams

Progression Opportunities

There would be opportunities to progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Management, Business Administration or any other related qualification

Career Opportunities

Job roles could include Section Manager, Senior Supervisor, Assistant Manager or any other related roles


Entry Requirements

Requirements

You need to have been a resident in the UK, EU or EEA for the past 3 years and should be at least 16 years old. You will need to be currently employed, or volunteering within a Team Leading role to show competence
