The Qualification Gained
Level 3 Diploma in Property (Sale of Residential Property) This Advanced Apprenticeship includes the opportunity to work towards the Propertymark Qualification Level 3 Award in the Sale of Residential Property and gain NAEA membership.
Who The Apprenticeship Is For
This qualification is aimed at staff working in sales negotiation, marketing or junior management in a residential sales environment and has been designed in consultation with representatives from the industry.
Its also ideal for those who have completed a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Property, Customer Service or Business Administration but wish to work in the Property and Lettings sector in a senior sales based role.
What Will You Learn
Duties will include the following: Advising clients about the buying and selling process; valuing properties; taking photos and measurements; marketing and advertising properties for sale; conducting viewings of properties; negotiating an acceptable sale price between buyer and seller.
Employee right and responsibilities (ERR) will be delivered through an ERR unit which will ensure that the Apprentice knows and understands each of the nine national outcomes for ERR.
You will be assigned a qualified Training Advisor, where learning will be undertaken by a mixture of 1 to 1 sessions, on/off the job learning, and mentor support.
The course will be assessed via a range of methods which could include direct observations in the workplace, electronic portfolios, guided discussions and on-screen testing.
Those who successfully complete Level 3 can progress to a Level 4 Propertymark Qualification in Commercial Property Agent and Residential Estate Agency. These is also the option to progress to HND and Foundation degrees in Property.
On completion of this framework apprentices can apply to be associated members of the Royal Institute of Surveyors (RICS) and Propertymark Qualified.
Job roles could include Sales Negotiator, Sales Valuer, Sales Manager and other senior roles in the Property Sector.
This qualification will give you the skills to enteral a senior role in Commercial Property, Auctioneering and Residential Estate Agency.
Ideally you will have completed the Level 2 Certificate in Property (Sale of Residential Property) or have previous experience in a sales/customer/business admin orientated environment.
Apprentices must complete or have completed a minimum Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications in English and Mathematics in order to successfully complete their Apprenticeship. Functional skills tuition is also delivered through Profound Services.
The work roles in this pathway have varying levels of ICT requirements and the generic ICT Functional Skills are too broad to accommodate this. The necessary ICT skills have been embedded in the relevant units of competence. Training will be given to apprentices to use in-house software systems.
