Peterlee based Profound Services are to host an Apprenticeship Recruitment Event which aims to help young people aged 16 to 24 move into employment and learning opportunities.
Profound Services Apprenticeship Recruitment Event takes place at The Pavilion, Peterlee, on Thursday, July 21, featuring apprenticeships in Business Administration, Customer Services, Property, Construction, Sales, Hospitality, Health and Social Care, IT and Social Media and Warehousing and Storage.
The local training provider is encouraging young people who are looking to earn while they learn to attend the drop in style event between 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
As well as information on the types of apprenticeships offered by Profound Services, attendees will have the chance to meet employers who are actively seeking apprentices, discuss their career options with experienced Career Advisors, and speak to the Recruitment Team and drop off their CV. Event-goers will also be given the opportunity, if they wish, to participate in a practice interview and receive verbal feedback to prepare themselves for their first interview with a real employer.
Profound Services have stressed that the Recruitment Event is open to all, including parents of young people, employers looking to take on an apprentice, and is not solely aimed at people from Peterlee. Profound Services work with companies nationwide and have strong partnerships with employers across the North East including Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and further afield.
Claire Turner, Learner Engagement Advisor at Profound Services, who has organised the Recruitment Event, said: “Our Recruitment Event is the perfect opportunity for those who are curious about apprenticeships and want to find out more information.
“Those who attend will have the opportunity to apply for jobs, gain information about the apprenticeship wage, career pathways and more. I hope as many people as possible come along on the day. ”
