Profound Services hosted an Apprenticeship Recruitment Event last week with the aim of helping young people move into employment and learning opportunities.
The event, which took place at Peterlee Pavilion on Thursday 21st July, received an outstanding turnout from attendees looking to gain employment via an apprenticeship programme. Profound Services was at hand to offer information, advice and guidance to 16 to 24 year olds looking to earn while they learn.
As well as receiving information on the types of apprenticeships offered by Profound Services, eventgoers participated in mock interviews and received feedback to prepare themselves for their first interview with a real employer. Attendees could pick up material on the apprenticeship wage, qualifications available, career pathways and other useful information.
Claire Turner, Learner Engagement Advisor at Profound Services, commented on the event and said: “I met someone amazing young people on the day who are very enthusiastic about gaining employment. You could feel the energy in the room and we received a load of apprenticeship applications from very talented candidates.”
We’re now working with the Business Development team to place these eager young people in the perfect position with high-quality employers.”
