Congratulations Rhiannon and Courtney

Congratulations to our very own Rhiannon and Courtney who have achieved their Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration!

The pair joined the group in 2015 where they embarked on a Level 2 Qualification in Business and Administration.

As soon as Courtney left school, she dived straight into the world of work to gain an understanding of the working environment. She progressed onto an apprenticeship and started working in our Quality Team and has since become such an integral part of their process.

Courtney also took on more roles, working as an assistant for the HR Department alongside her original job. Since taking on her new job title ‘Quality and HR Administrator’, she has been recognised as ‘indispensable’ by her colleges, winning Profound’s 'Making a Difference' award! Courtney commented: “Profound Services’ has been amazing throughout my apprenticeship, not only did I have my assessor help me with my apprenticeship, I had my team give me support to get me through units that I struggled with which was a massive help for me to achieve!”

Rhiannon first joined Profound to complete a Level 2 Business and Administration Apprenticeship after soon deciding college wasn’t for her and wanted to take an alternative route.

When Rhiannon joined Profound, she was working as a Receptionist while assisting for our Senior Management Team and CEO. Rhiannon quickly learnt the skills and knowledge to progress, and soon moved on to a full-time, permanent role in our Data Team as a Data Administrator!

Each year more and more students are starting to consider doing an apprenticeship over going to college. We spoke with Rhiannon about why she took the route she did. She said: “When leaving school, it is easy to follow the crowd who usually choose college as a first choice. I also did this, although it wasn’t the right choice for me after a year of college I learnt that you should just do whatever you would like to and I’m pleased I finally chose the apprenticeship life and gained work experience alongside a qualification.”

Rhiannon also added: “My biggest achievement throughout my apprenticeship is creating amazing relationships with my work colleagues along with the achievement of my apprenticeship of course.”
