Essentially, the candidate shall have A1 and have experience in training and assessing Apprenticeships.

Duties Include: -

  1. Carry out initial and diagnostic assessments including Functional Skills
  2. Deliver induction/training
  3. Meet external standards for any course delivery
  4. Ensure all documentation meets funding body standards and compliance
  5. Assess and sign off candidate portfolios
  6. Provide Information, Advice and Guidance to allow candidates to progress

Essential Skills and attributes: -

  1. Assessing qualification
  2. Management/Team Leading, Customer Service and Administration qualifications minimum level 3
  3. Functional Skills qualifications
  4. Communication skills
  5. Report writing skills
  6. Occupational competence in the sector

Desirable Skills and attributes: -

  1. Teaching skills
  2. Information, Advice and Guidance qualification
  3. Knowledge of Internal Quality Assurance processes
  4. Management/Team Leading experience in the sector
  5. Level 4 Qualifications.

Other Information: -

  • Salary = Circa £22,000 for a full caseload
  • Hours =  37.5 Per week for a full caseload
  • Caseload = A full caseload would be up to 37 apprenticeships.
  • Mileage = 40p per mile

  4. Knowledge of Internal Quality Assurance processes

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.

40p per mile Travel Allowance

An opportunity to join a fast-developing experienced National training provider (Good Ofsted) to support the teaching/assessing of the Management and Schools Business-Professional  Apprenticeships.

Providing coaching to new or existing staff through an apprenticeship pathway you will need significant occupational experience of ‘On the Job’ assessing of apprentices providing training, feedback and mentoring.  It would be advantageous if you have some experience of working in schools, administering finances, site and support services

You will be responsible for the coaching and development of apprentices through the Apprenticeship Standards. 

You will work alongside the employer to develop a plan regarding around delivery of on-programme and end-point assessments for the apprentices.

Essentially, the candidate shall have A1 and have experience in training and assessing Apprenticeships UP TO LEVEL 5.  You will have a passion about education, are highly motivated, enthusiastic and have a commitment to learner achievement and success.

  • Deliver induction/training
  • Meet external standards for any course delivery
  • Ensure all documentation meets funding body standards and compliance

  • Provide Information, Advice and Guidance to allow candidates to progress

Essential Skills and attributes: -

  1. Assessing qualification
  2. Management qualifications minimum level 5
  3. Functional Skills qualifications
  4. Communication skills
  5. Report writing skills
  6. Occupational competence in the sector

Desirable Skills and attributes: -

  1. Teaching qualification
  2. Information, Advice and Guidance qualification
  3. Experience of working in schools, administering finances, site and support services.

  • Prepare employer contracts and agreements to meet ESFA guidance.
  • Liaise directly with employers to ensure all contracts are returned timely.
  • Ensure employers are given accurate advice around government incentives and timescales.
  • Effectively provide financial support to the Finance Manager and the rest of the Finance Team.
  • Support Finance Officer with the management of work-load on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Ensure all Employer contracts are held on file and are readily available upon request.
  • Record and monitor employer incentive payments.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

  • GCSE Maths & English Grade C+
  • Experience of working in a Customer Service or Business 2 Business Environment

Desired Skills:

  • Good computer skills and the ability to operate word and excel programmes
  • Good communication and people skills
